LOUIS - Many residents, including a mother, are worried about their safety in their apartment complex located on South Broadway in St. Louis. Initially, there were minor issues, but now it has escalated into a major health hazard."I have poop all over my house, it's under my refrigerator, it's under my oven," said Nicole Dawson, a resident. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A police brutality investigation is underway several days after an apparently-beaten man was found in an open field in Kinloch.On the Fourth of July, just before 9 p.m., a woman driving by happened to spot the man lying in the grass, apparently injured. The witness reported she saw police officers around him, but none from a department several towns over. That caught her attention. She said those officers took off, leaving the man behind. City of Pagedale rejected organization aims to help women transition back into society after prison ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - An organization that aims to assist women transitioning from prison back to normal life was rejected by the Pagedale community in north St. Louis County.The head of The SoulFisher Ministries contacted FOX 2 about this battle with the mayor over a program they say will help a lot of women, including many from Pagedale.This nonprofit organization has an annual budget of approximately $2 million. It has secured grants of $1.6 million from the U.S. Department of Justice and $4 million from the U.S. Department of Education. It also has a working relationship with the Missouri Department of Corrections. Irvine police recover over $125K from burglary suspect Irvine police arrested a 26-year-old suspect on Friday for a residential burglary that occurred on Tuesday. At approximately 12:30 a.m. on July 5, authorities responded to reports of a burglary in the Altair community, according to an Irvine Police Department news release. Six of their command centers have AI technology set up to detect wildfires. KRON spoke with one of their fire captains about how AI technology works. Cal Fire has about 1,000 cameras set up throughout the state. They have the ability to rotate 360 degrees, zoom in and out, and now AI can detect a wildfire.
